Is WitGarden free?
Yes. WitGarden is free to play in your browser and can be added to your home screen. It shows a small banner ad on the home and settings screens and never during a level.
How do I play?
Tap a bright, uncovered tile and it flies into your tray. When three tiles with the same picture are in the tray they bloom away. Clear every tile before the tray fills up.
What happens when the tray is full?
The garden ends and your streak of gardens cleared in a row ends with it. You can restart the garden, or watch a short video (when one is available) to clear the stuck tiles and keep your streak.
What is the garden streak?
It counts the gardens you have cleared in a row. Every garden in a row earns extra petals, up to +100 each, but a lost garden ends the streak. Leaving a garden half-played also ends it.
Are all the gardens the same?
No. Boards are different sizes, shapes and heights, and nearly every one of the 5,000 gardens has its own layout. Each garden also has a personality, like Frostbite, Fog Garden or The Vault, so back-to-back gardens play differently.
What is the Weekly Challenge?
From garden 33, every week brings one big timed garden with a featured personality, the same for every player. Your best score is kept, and the first clear each week pays 250 petals, 2 hints, 1 undo and a Streak Shield.
What is Bloom Week?
Clear one garden on a day and that day's petal blooms. Bloom seven days and you get a big reward: 300 petals, 3 hints, 3 undos, 2 shuffles and a Streak Shield. Then a fresh week begins. Missed days never reset it, the week just waits for you.
What are petals for?
You earn petals by matching tiles and clearing gardens. Spend them in the petal shop on hints, undos, shuffles and Streak Shields, or double them after a garden by watching a short video when one is available.
What is a Streak Shield?
A Streak Shield saves your garden streak once when you lose a garden: restart and keep the streak. You earn one by completing Bloom Week, or buy one in the petal shop. You can hold up to three.
Can every garden be solved?
Yes. Every one of the 5,000 gardens is built around a real solution, so a way to clear the whole board always exists.
What are the power-ups?
Undo takes back your last tile, Hint highlights the best next tile and Shuffle re-deals the pictures on the tiles that are left.
Do I need an account?
No. Your progress, settings and petals are saved on your own device and are never sent to a server.
Does it work offline?
The game needs a connection to load the first time. Your progress is stored on your device.
What is the Daily Bloom?
A fresh garden every day, the same for everyone on the same calendar day in their own time zone. Playing every day builds your streak.
